I Am In Charge! How Power Affects Your Risk Perceptions –American President Abraham Lincoln once said, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” Why and how does organizational power affect decision-making in negative ways? In this block of instruction, we will discuss power’s effect on the brain and how it unconsciously changes your perspective while also decreasing your empathy for others. (2 hrs)
