A Mentor, Leader, and Instructor in the Public Safety Arena
A Mentor, Leader, and Instructor in the Public Safety Arena

It takes a special individual with ethics, civility, desire and dedication for a career in public safety. Even so, it is an extraordinary individual that becomes a mentor, leader, and instructor in the public safety arena. Michael “Bret” Hood has displayed all of these characteristics with a high degree of leadership. I had the opportunity to study under Mr. Hood in the FBINA 262 session where he serves as a professor on issues relating to contemporary policing and leadership. I have also had the opportunity to read and study many of Mr. Hoods works on management and leadership. It is with the highest degree of confidence that I recommend his writings, books, and articles on leadership and management for professional development.
